BRAD DID NOT SAY SOCIALIST COUNTRY IS GREAT. RATHER, what he said was that ”he has been to one himself….. and that WE [ refering to america] are great. ”

perhaps next time, before you jump the gun and start condemning someone, making baseless accusations, you should do what BRAD suggested, ”in a democratic society, one should gather all facts and make an informed decision, which in your case, would prob be informed statements.”

  this debate only serve to emphasis that all these these paegents are nothing more than just a game of popularity contest. If you say something honest but unpopular, you run a risk of being voted out.

  I dont think it is wrong to uphold or believe in values that one is brought up with. I dont think she should be penalised and be insulted as a dumb b!tch just because she has a different view about same sex marriage. IS there is no room to agree to disagree? So the insults and name hurling and throwing a fit should be perfectly acceptable by the rest of the people? So if someone else disgreee she is stupid, and starts to hurl insults back becasue we refuse to accept the opposing views, then will this hatred and unforgiveness ever end?

  We are shaped by our upbringing and the people we come in contact with. For many years, gays had to hide in the closet due t discrimination. Yet over time, the society has now come to accept that same sex romance do exist. Give it a few more years or decade, this society will eventually come round. Not because we are bowing down to raging insults by gay activists, but rather as more and more straight people form a bond with non antagonising gay friends, opinions will and so change andlaws will change.

But of course, woman who repeatedly allow themselves to be abused doesnt warrant much sympathy. Time will tell if Rihanna is smart enough.

  Afterall they are celebrities, their world of logic doesnt often coincide with the mainstream society.

  i think people are begining to blure the line between acceptable mistakes and things one should never do in the first place. No one should resort to physical violence regardless if its male or female. Agressor behaviour should never be condone in any civilised society. To Chris’s defenders, It wasnt a shove, it was a slap across the face. It was VIOLENT BASHING of another human beng. How can anyone say that is a mistake? Physical violence is a RAPE of the other person’s dignity. and SOME STUFF should NEVER HAPPEN in the first place. if Chris wasnt happy, then walk away, break off, yell at her, whatever. Just dont lay his hands on her.
