Michael Jackson This Is It in 3D

Just before his death Michael Jackson shot a 3D short film, nicknamed Dome Project, for his This Is It final concert tour.
There’s no doubt the film will go on sale once Michael’s will, and estate issues are settled. The 3D film will probably make blockbuster sales too.

Michael Jackson Patented Shoes

In a famous scene from Michael Jackson’s music video for Smooth Criminal, Michael and his troupe of dancers are seen leaning forward at a 45-degree angle. How did he do it?
Dvice.com reports that the singer and his dancers used wires and harnesses in the 1988 music video. But when Jackson performed the song live, he had the help of special shoes. The shoes were actually patented in 1993.
US Patent number 5255452 explains that the shoes contain anklets that imitate the rigidity of ski boots and also latch on to pegs that rise out of the floor, thereby allowing Jackson to defy gravity.
The patent states that the shoes are "a system for allowing a shoe wearer to lean forwardly beyond his center of gravity by virtue of wearing a specially designed pair of shoes which will engage with a hitch member movably projectable through a stage surface. The shoes have a specially designed heel slot which can be detachably engaged with the hitch member by simply sliding the shoe wearer’s foot forward, thereby engaging with the hitch member."
Jackson may have come up with his own unique leaning move, but he was heavily influenced by dance legend Fred Astaire.

One YouTube user created a video that blends Jackson’s "Smooth Criminal" with scenes from Astaire’s 1953 film "The Band Wagon" that shows similarities between Jackson and Astaire’s dance moves in the video below.
The video below shows Michael performing Smooth Criminal live using his patented shoes.
Debbie Rowe Claims She is the Biological Mother

After it was reported that neither Debbie Rowe, nor Michael Jackson, were the biological parents of any of the three children Michael had in his custody, Debbie released the following statement via her attorney Marta Almi:
"We refuse to be drawn into addressing the various rumors and speculation swirling in the media. The vast majority of what is out there is untrue. Particular hurtful and insidious is the most recent rumor — which is entirely false — concerning the maternity of the children. Ms. Rowe is the biological mother of the two oldest children."
Despite the biological claim, there is no DNA test or documentation to support the claim, there is only a legal presumption that Rowe is the mother. Since Michael had custody his family will automatically keep custody for now, unless Rowe can prove she is a better parent, which is doubtful since she rarely saw the kids. Rowe doesn’t act like a biological mother.
