Oprah Will Not Book Sarah Palin Until After Election
Oprah Winfrey has refused to book Sarah Palin on her show. Oprah issued this statement this morning:
"The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
Oprah claims she won’t use her "show as a platform for any of the candidates," yet she had Barack Obama on her show in January of 2005, and again in October of 2006, and she publicly endorsed Obama for President because he is black.
Now Sarah Palin comes along representing the majority of women in America, but because she’s white, Oprah won’t give her equal time until after the election. Where’s the fairness doctrine when you need it?
Oprah should be ashamed. She’s betraying her mostly female audience, and they shouldn’t stand for it.

Oprah does a lot of good but it’s motivated by her ego. When she has an expert on her show she is always talking over them. It was very ironic when she hosted A New Earth. We heard from her more than Eckhart Tolle.
This beavior of refusing to have Palin on her show is right in line with everything else she does.
Funny, you use your forum to exploit your political views and that is ok, but if Oprah does it then she is biased?? And where does the black, white thing come from – maybe she doesn’t book Palin because she is a sideshow and unqualified!
