OJ Simpson Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison
A whining OJ Simpson pleaded for mercy from the Judge today. Simpson was convicted of armed kidnapping and armed robbery in Las Vegas. The judge sentenced Simpson, and his accomplice, to 16 years in prison with Simpson eligible for parol after 6 years. Simpson received the minimum sentence for his crimes. It is refreshing when the court applies the law, rather than acting on personal bias like happened in his double murder trial years ago in California.

Why did he get the MINIMUM sentence? Anyone else {who is not famous} would have gotten the MAXIMUM. ANYONE who uses a weapon while committing a crime should always get the most severe penalty allowed by law.
