Nigella Lawson is a Real Life Scrooge

Nigella Lawson, a celebrity chef, and her husband, Charles Saatchi, have a combined fortune of over $200 million. Her husband has his own ad agency, and his art collection alone is said to be worth a fortune. Nigella has 2 kids from a previous marriage, and Charles has 1 daughter from a previous marriage. The kids are Bruno, 11, Phoebe, 12, and Cosima, 13. Nigella said:

"I am determined that my children should have no financial security. It ruins people not having to earn money. I argue with my husband Charles, because he believes that you should be able to leave money to your children. I think we’ll have to agree to disagree."

I feel so sorry for this scrooge’s kids. Even Bill Gates, who agrees with this philosophy up to a point, will leave his kids with a minimum of $10 million dollars a piece. Nigella doesn’t seem to understand the other end of the spectrum, that some people work themselves to death just trying to make a living, and die young. Charles should just divorce this woman right now, and the kids should forget she even exists.
