Mission Impossible 3 Disappointment
Last night I went to see the opening of Mission Impossible III. The movie was can’t take your eyes off the screen action packed. Every actor and actress did a great job. There was only one problem, the story didn’t develop any of the characters, or flow well at all. There was a scene where Tom Cruise is gets something called “The Rabbit’s Foot,” but all we see is him going into a building, then coming out in dramtic fashion. Normally the story would demand that viewers see how he got it to keep them from getting lost, but this story just ignored nearly all the details that glue the story together, and instead relied on action to keep people from getting bored.
Maybe I’m different from other people, but I’d give this movie an “A” on everything except I’d have to give the story itself an “F.” Good movies combine all elements. When the story is neglected as much as it was in MI:3, it leaves people like me feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth. I would however still recommend this movie, but I’ll bet “The Da Vinci Code,” and “Over the Hedge,” which also come out this money do a much better job delivering all the required elements of a good movie. Oh, and don’t forget “X Men: The Last Stand.”
