Miley Cyrus Photo Backlash

Miley Cyrus is taking a lot of heat for everything she does and says now. Her whole professional, and even personal, life is under a microscope. Such is the price of fame and fortune.
Miley said recently how much she loved the show Sex and the City. She said:
"I love it! If you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters, that’s a thing we try to do on our show."
Parents who have children watching Hannah Montana are not likely to also encourage their children to watch Sex and the City, which obsesses about the sex lives of adult women who are very promiscuous on the show. Realizing Miley had once again made a statement that gives the popular Disney show a sexually suggestive image, sources, probably reps for Disney, then said:
"The show she watches is completely sanitized. She watches it on TBS," says a source close to Cyrus. (TBS airs an edited-for-TV version of the iconic series.) "[Miley’s mom] Tish doesn’t allow HBO in the house. They only have basic cable."
Sanitized? If you leave the "sex" out of Sex and the City there is no show. Miley has sex on the brain, and it becomes obvious with everything she says and does these days, which isn’t abnormal for a girl her age, but it does hurt her Disney image.
Disney has been keeping Miley on a short leash, which I like to call house arrest, since the Vanity Fair photos elicited such a negative response, but also a lot of support to give Miley a break since she’s only 15 years-old.
Before the scandal broke Miley would have probably loved to have a part in the Sex and the City movie, but after the scandal broke, she probably would have said how embarrassed she was to play the part.
Due to the picture scandal, Disney announced Thursday that Miley would not be attending a red carpet event today, even though she had been scheduled to attend for weeks.
Miley was to appear at a media party in Orlando on Friday, along with dozens of other Disney Channel stars in town to film the "Disney Channel Games," a charity competition.
According to reports, Disney announced on Thursday that Miley Cyrus won’t be attending her first (previously scheduled) public appearance since those ’scandalous’ Vanity Fair pics went public.
Miley was to appear at a media party in Orlando on Friday, along with dozens of other Disney Channel stars in town to film the Disney Channel Games, a charity competition.
Disney did not elaborate on the reason for Miley’s absence from the party.
The reason is self evident. Disney has taken the wheel, and they need to clean up the image of a star who brings in more than a billion dollars in revenue.
This whole scandal is just a preview of the sexual side of Miley trying to get out. Once she hits 18 there’s going to be a coming out party.

There not only is no sex in “Sex and The City”, there’s very little skin. Have you ever seen an episode on TBS? It’s one of the least titillating, most boring shows on tv. Prime-time shows on the major networks have more to do with sex. You just have a problem with the NAME of the show.
