Miley Cyrus is starting to really feel the heat from her disillusioned fans who have been seeing risky pictures of her surface on the Internet for over a year now. The latest controversy comes from a cover shoot 15 year-old Miley did for Vanity Fair, in which she appears without a top on. The cover has caused such an uproar as the picture hit the Internet, that Miley had to release a statement ahead of Vanity Fair hitting news stands. Miley said in her statement today:

"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ’artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.’"

Artistic? For a 15 year-old it’s called inappropriate, and Miley knows it. Miley is now doing damage control because Disney is worried. Miley wants so badly to be the next Lindsay Lohan that she’s even copying her. Back in February of 2008 Lindsay did a photo shoot without her clothes on for New York Magazine, then Dina Lohan defended Lindsay by saying the photo shoot was "meant to be artistic."

The Disney Channel is also defending their investment in Miley saying:

"A situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."

Uh huh, as if Miley is really that naive and innocent. She’s not that stupid. Vanity Fair should release a statement of their own, since Disney just accused them of taking advantage of a child. If what Disney says is true, then Disney is guilty as well for continuing to employee Miley despite her numerous slutty picture releases on the Internet. First there was Miley exposing her panties, then the lesbian pictures where she again showed off her panties, and which Miley claimed were "two girls at a sleepover," then Miley showed off her green bra, then got overly affectionate with her boyfriend, then released more pictures of her kissing her boyfriend Thomas Sturges, and finally got into trouble over her Vanity Fair pictures showing Miley without clothes on. Did her parents sign a consent form to allow this?

Someone needs to remind Miley she is only 15 not 18. Disney should really consider retiring Miley if these pictures continue, and by retiring I mean firing. After all, Disney pays Miley to uphold a wholesome teen image, for which they have built both a reputation, and parents trust in when they purchase Disney products. Do parents really want their daughters idolizing a tween queen who projects a sexually mature 15 year-old image?

What should Disney do with Miley?

Should Disney Fire Miley?

She should get fired. She’s going to lose a bunch of her fans after these slutty pictures.

The person who posted this, this photo doesn’t show any sexuality at all, also her father was also there on the set! Get your facts straight, she saw it as artistic while you who has a sick mind only sees it as sexual. If she was literally topless then it would be bad but shes not, If you see a naked 8 month old then you see it as cute but if it is a naked 8 year old you automatically call it pornography. Seriously stop this madness!

omg this review is so pathetic, firstly, the vanity fair pics aren’t even that bad, it’s not like she’s totally nude or anything – at least she has the decency to cover herself up unlike other celebrities! and also the other pics released on the internet are what u make them out 2 be – e.g. they r not lesbian photos, just 2 friends messing round sharing some candy, whats the big deal. thb if tabliods 2 gunna make such a huge over nothing (like this) then they r obviously running out of stories. with the press watching their every move, nd going through their person things, and private photos, no wonder all these celebs r going crazy, just giv em break, they’re only human, and they make mistakes just like everyone else on earth. so there is deffinatly no reason 2 fire Miley over something as silly as this!!

For one thing why are magazines making her do photo shoots then taking advantage of her. This is no reason to take advantage of her. She should sue them they should have showed the picture to her then asked her opinoin.

  5. Gerry says:

It doesn’t matter. Disney’s behind Miley, she makes a lot of money for them, they’re not firing her, and your ranting and raving about it every day isn’t going to change anything—–
