Michelle Phillips Says Mackenzie Phillips is a Liar
Michelle Phillips, the ex-wife of the late John Phillips, says her stepdaughter Mackenzie Phillips is lying about having an incestuous affair with her father. Michelle says:
“John was a bad parent, and a drug addict. But [expletive deleted] his daughter? If she thinks it’s true, why isn’t she with a good psychiatrist on a couch? I think it’s unconscionable that Oprah would let her do her show. I have every reason to believe it’s untrue. Oprah should be more judicious about who she has on her show.”
Michelle added: “Mackenzie has a lot of mental illness. She’s had a needle stuck up her arm for 35 years. She was arrested for heroin and coke just recently. She did ‘Celebrity Rehab’ and now she writes a book. The whole thing is timed.” Michelle said it’s particularly ironic since her own daughter, Chynna, of Wilson Phillips fame, Mackenzie’s half sister, is releasing a new album this week.
“Mackenzie is jealous of her siblings, who have accomplished a lot and did not become drug addicts.”
Like I said yesterday both Chynna Phillips and Mackenzie Phillips had something to gain by promoting Mackenzie’s book of lies. It’s all about making money while ruining their dead father’s good name. Mackenzie has already made a bad name for herself, but now Chynna has created doubt about her own personal integrity.
Keep in mind that Michelle is John’s ex-wife, and ex-wives are the least likely to defend their ex-husband’s good name.

The only reason the one lie a-day ,at a time ex-star mackenzie is blasting out this rubbish is to sell more books and that chynna phillips wants money too!
John Phillips was a drug addict & a bad father not raising her daughter like a normal father would…but i would never believe the mackenzies lies..
the worst part is John can’t be here to defend himself..so i and other Mamas & Papas supporters will do so…now!
I make a challenge to all Mamas & Papas fans to ban mackenzies book AND the OPRAH TV SHOW until oprah has some kind of retraction of these damaging lies.
oprah should know better than pulling this crap on us..many people have trusted her in the past and now we know oprah is a money cruber too! So her show will get more ratings SHE HAS THIS ONE LIE-A-DAY STAR RUIN HER FATHER NAME without any real proof..what a money whore! BAN OPRAH & MACKENZIE PHILLIPS until these lies are retracted!
Ugh- my comment never showed up. You have three sisters (Mackenzie, Chynna, & Bijou) corroborating the same story. John Phillips was the first person to stick a needle in Mackenzie’s arm. He was an active participant in the drug counter culture of the 60’s & 70’s. He deserves to have this known about him, dead or alive. I’d probably be just as screwed up and a drug addict if I had a father do this stuff to me. By the was, Michelle Phillips is no angel herself. While in the Mamas & Papas she was a drug user and started an affair with the other male member of the Mamas & Papas.

I think it’s wrong to assume MacKenzie & Chynna Phllips are lying. Now another sibling, Bijou, is corroborating the father and daughter has an incestuous affair. There was a strange drug counter culture during the 60 & early 70s. I think he probably did abuse her. I think if I went through that I might be a drug addict as well. Not to mention John Williams was the first person to shoot Her up with heroin. He’s the one who betrayed the innocence of his daughter. By the way, Michelle Williams cheated on John Williams with the other male member of the Mamas & Papas. She isn’t miss innocent!
I understand the “follow the money concept.” But when I told my parents, cousins, siblings, aunts and uncles that my Uncle by marriage to my aunt was molesting me, they wanted me to keep it quiet as well. My Aunt was a heart patient and very ill. They said knowing this would kill her. One Uncle said, why didn’t she say anything before. 1-It takes courage, 2-I was not close to my mother and we never discussed sex, 3-I felt shame 4-My mom couldn’t take care of 3 young children and I was sent to live with them every summer-what would happen to me? Then when my uncle passed away Feb. 2, 2004, to get closure I sent flowers to his family with love. I forgave him, I was now 48 and this happened when I was 3 to age 11. They wrote back, the “flowers came too late just like the love.” After he died and I received the hurtful note, i wanted to tell his family. My oldest aunt 85′ told me to let it go- again sweeping it under the rug.I felt like I had to clear my reputation, his family thought I was an ingrate for living with them free all those summers. In reality, his actions are disgustingly tatooed in my brain. Please don’t Judge MacKenzie!!!!!!!!
Mackenzie is such a loser. She can’t deal with the fact that most people today haven’t a clue who she is.
