Michael Vick Sentenced to 23 Months in Prison

Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 Months in prison for dog fighting, and killing dogs that couldn’t fight anymore. The judge said:
"You need to apologize to the millions of young people who looked up to you."
Vick’s homes in Atlanta and Virginia are both now for sale. He was also ordered to pay around $900,000 to care for 54 pit bulls that were taken from his dog fighting operation. Vick has gone from one of the highest paid NFL players to petty criminal. If I could interview him I’d have only one question, "Was it worth it?"

Whoever that judge was that senteneced Vick, ought to be ashamed of himself. An apology, in my eyes, is not good enough. He is totally getting away with this, and 23 months is not long enough for him to think about what he did. All he is thinking about is, how can I get out of here to do this again…I’m a star! Whatever

I hope he makes a believable statement condemning dog fighting soon. Too many wannabe gangsters look up to this fool and quite a few are trying to defend him. Someone needs to get him some serious psychological help. It scares me that so many from his generation have no genuine compassion for helpless creatures-their own children as well as animals.
