Whoever you are that writes this site, God bless you. I was as open-minded as the next person prior to taking criminal justice courses in college. FBI stats on violent crime are shocking and irrefutable. And it’s not just the disparity between population percentage and violent crime, it’s the nature of the crimes committed. Blacks are heinous when it comes to criminal activity. Beating elderly people AFTER taking their money, raping children during home invasions, killing victims AFTER they have complied. It’s high time we took this country back. An easy, passive resistant beginning is to start ignoring the self-anointed Black leaders such as Sharpton and Jackson and open a racial dialogue wherein we no longer abide by political correctness. What’s wrong is wrong – regardless of color. And don’t let them get away with blaming society anymore. It don’t wash, never did and never will.

I hope all the Bush haters hold Obama to the same exacting standard, but I doubt it. Just like with the election, the Mainstream Media will go easy on him and his defenders will decry racism the minute someone criticizes him or his policies. If Obama is a pragmatist, like Clinton, then he will be forced to rule Center/Left, because he will desire re-election above all things. If he is an idealist, much like the radical company he keeps, then we are in trouble. If he keeps his promises to tax those making what in the final days of the election was $92,000.00 and above, while mandating insurance and nationalizing healthcare, we will all have the pleasure of enjoying a second Great Depression. One final prediction – having nothing to do with his Muslim roots, but more to do with his expressed desire to repeal the Patriot Act and close Guantanamo Bay, I expect another terrorist attack on this country within 6 months of his inauguration. The wiretaps contained in the Patriot Act and the waterboarding of detainees have prevented several planned strikes against us. Obama will end that.

    Chip

You make my point about the nutjobs on the Left. The detainees at Guantanamo Bay may be your friends, they aren’t mine or most of America’s. Do us all a favor and go hug a suicide bomber.

Fuuuugly. She must be good at “serving up love.”

The utter disregard for truth or understanding among the Left is alarming. The whole canard about Palin censoring or wanting to censor books is rubbish. All the Left requires for it to gin up its attack dogs is for one person to stand up and point a finger. That is precisely what happened here. One pathetic librarian, a former hippie, claimed Palin had a book list with censorship in mind. That’s it. Upon examination, the slavering media found it to be unfounded. That’s right, a media bent on ripping the Gov. to shreds (but not conducting one credible investigation in Black Jesus’ dubious resume) came away with nothing, yet that doesn’t phase those esteemed literatie on the Left. As their great leader Karl Marx aptly stated what has become the MSM mantra, “A lie told often enough will be taken as truth.”
  • Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama
    Billo,
Back in the first Persian Gulf War, when Powell was the military attache to the White House and spokesperson to the media, he was the one who counseled against going into Baghdad and ending everything then and there. Bush and Schwarzkopf wanted to wrap everything up once and for all, but Powell persuaded them with an argument that the streetfighting and body count that would ensue would turn the public against the Administration with an election looming. It is because of Powell that Saddam had over a decade to regroup and rebuild, it is because of his “advice” that we had to re-invade years later. And contrary to your post, he wasn’t critical or “forced” to give his WMD testimony before the UN. He was sidelined because under him the State Department became an entity unto its own, often undercutting the very President who gave him his office. Was it not Richard Armitage, Powell’s number two at the Pentagon, who was the one that leaked Valerie Plame’s name? That whole mess the liberal media pinned for months on end on the Bush Administration? And after years of benefitting from Republican patronage, what does Powell do? Bites the hand that feeds him. Do you honestly believe that a career soldier, a four-star general, would side politically with a man who never served and who has voted against the military every chance he got over a former POW, a longtime friend, and a senator that has done more for the VA than any other public official? Right. He’s just another brother supporting another brother, and I think his endorsement actually hurts Obama. Because that is precisely how the public at large will see this. Love how the Left demonized Powell when he was entrenched in the Bush Admin. Going so far as to call him an Uncle Tom. But now he is a wise and unbiased political sage. What a joke.

Your article speaks volumes. I thank you for having the balls to speak the truth… We could reduce crime by facing up to certain individual and races who have a higher tendency to commit acts of violence..

Whether you’re black yellow fuscia or white, crime is crime but the TRUTH is blacks have the highest % of crimes against there race and every other race!

Put an end to racist comments and start addressing facts..

I commend whoever is responsible for opening this line of dialog. I personally am TIRED of people like Sharpton adding fuel to an already stressed racial “fire”, in which it has become socially acceptable to be black, racist, and basically blame shift every single problem to either media outlets, the government, or whites.

When a 19 year old black man commits a crime, it is because he is a criminal; not because of slavery. When a 15 year old black woman has her 3rd child, it is not because the “system” failed to educate her; it is because her parents failed to educate her.

I could go on all day about why I will NEVER be “PC”, but the simple fact of the matter is racism breads racism. A black person is not born in this country without the parents, grandparents, and other blacks instilling a false sense of entitlement because of slavery, or for the simple fact that they were born black.

Yes, I am white, and no, I am not proud to be white. Why? Because I had no choice in being born white, so why be proud of something one has no control over?

In a nut shell, no one should focus on being proud of the color of their skin; but they should focus on not being a criminal, not hurting another human being, taking responsibility for their actions, and making the world safer for all of our children.

    Thanks HG

lol…I live in Mississippi, where the race card is pulled all the time over EVERYTHING. Thank you for putting this truth & reality out there! XOXO

Great article. I completely agree. I do live in a place where black crime is an issue and has always been. Why is it every time they do a crime people of the same color stand behind them? Instead they should stand united with everyone else disgusted with the offender as well. You didn’t see all the asians citing racism in the press defending Cho Seung-Hui.
    I guess it’s a “black” thing, I wouldn’t understand.
