Michael Phelps won his eight gold medal on Sunday, breaking Mark Spitz’s record.

Dara Torres, who is 41 years-old, and a five-time Olympian, is now the oldest American swimmer ever. Torres won two silver medals on the final day of swimming at the Water Cube, and lost a gold medal Sunday morning by one-hundredth of a second.

The 2008 Beijing Olympics was one of the most amazing and inspiring.

On June 24 David Beckham will attend the closing ceremony to mark the transition of the Olympics, which will help held 4 summers from now in London.
