Michael Lohan Threatens Lindsay Lohan with Conservatorship

Michael Lohan has announced through the media that he will go to court if his adult daughter Lindsay Lohan doesn’t meet with him to develop a plan to get her help with her problems, that appear to still be drugs and alcohol. Michael has partnered with Lisa Bloom who is acting as his attorney. Lisa is also the daughter of ambulance chaser Gloria Allred, and Lisa also works for an entertainment TV show, which seems convenient since Michael wants to have his own show.

Michael showed up with police on Thursday claiming Ali Lohan was in danger at Lindsay’s home, and tried to talk Lindsay into going to rehab. Michael also announced on Thursday on a morning radio show he will be asking the sentencing judge to either order Lindsay into rehab, or grant him a conservatorship.

Michael’s own life has been one train wreck after another. It’s very doubtful a judge would even give Michael the time of day.

Lindsay has had a lot of problems lately that all point to the fact she needs help.

Earlier this year a friend left their $35,000 Rolex at Lindsay’s home, and never saw it again. Police questioned Lindsay about the watch theft on Wednesday, and she remains the main suspect. This isn’t the first theft Lindsay has been accused of by a friend. As if on cue Lindsay issued a flat denial.

Lindsay missed the depositions she was required to appear at for a high speed chase, and kidnapping, so lawyers have asked the judge for a default judgment against Lindsay in he case, or to jail her.

The financial investors for the film The Other Side fired Lindsay last week saying she isn’t "bankable."

Over the weekend Lindsay was at the night club Trousdale and threw a glass at the head of Samantha Ronson. Bounsers then kicked Lindsay out and banned her from returning. This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been banned from a night club.

Despite all this trouble Michael still shouldn’t be allowed to have a conservatorship, but the judge overseeing Lindsay’s DUI probation should have taken action long ago when there were pictures to prove Lindsay was still drinking and drugging while on probation.

As for Dina Lohan, she is talking to her lawyer about getting a restraining order against Michael.

On the on hand it seems like Michael is trying to help Lindsay, but because he wants to do it for publicity to help himself, it’s clear Michael doesn’t really care about Lindsay. Dina doesn’t care about Lindsay either, because Lindsay pays her as a manager, so Dina keeps all the people who could help Lindsay away from her.

If Michael, Dina, and the judge won’t help Lindsay, or can’t then who can? The answer is simple. Only Lindsay can help herself, and if she won’t, we’ll be reading her obituary before too long. Some people will blame the mother, the father, the judge, the handlers, whoever, but ultimately it will be Lindsay’s fault, because she is an adult who makes her own decisions, just as Michael Jackson did in the end.
