Merv Griffin Has Died
Creator of Wheel-of-Fortune, Jeaopardy, and many other successful business ventures, Merv Griffin passed away yesterday at the age of 82 (1925 – 2007). He had been battling prostate cancer since 1996. Merv will be missed. When he entered a hospital a month ago, he was working on the first week of production of a new syndicated game show called "Merv Griffin’s Crosswords."
