Melissa Chantel Huckaby Charged for Killing Sandra Cantu

Melissa Chantel Huckaby (28) was charged in court today with the murder, torture, rape, sexual assault with a foreign object, and kidnapping of 8 year-old Sandra Cantu. Huckaby, who volunteered as a Sunday school teacher at her grandfather’s Clover Road Baptist Church in Tracy, California had custody of her own 5 year-old daughter at the time of the murder.

Authorities have not disclosed if Huckaby was also abusing her own daughter.

The rape was confirmed by autopsy. The crime itself was so horrible police said not all details could be released to the media.

Huckaby is a monster.

Huckaby is one of many women who have committed horrible crimes against children. Unfortunately the sexist court system, and law enforcement, have not yet compiled a profile or understanding of females that commit these types of crimes, so many cases go unsolved, and unreported. Women are not so different from men, even when it comes to criminal activity. This is the dark side of equality.

To gain sympathy from the court Huckaby cried. It’s the oldest trick in the book. Huckaby was not crying for the child she murdered, or because of guilt, but because out of concern for her selfish self. We hope Huckaby gets the death penalty for brutally killing this innocent 8 year-old girl, but unfortunately in California two murders have to be committed to qualify for the death penalty.
