mc hammer MC Hammer Launches DanceJam the Black YouTube

MC Hammer (45), and his partners, are launching a web site called DanceJam located at dancejam.com. Hammer envistions the site as the black YouTube. Dancing shows, along with talent shows like American Idol, had struck a chord with viewers who can’t seem to get enough of raw talent, whether it’s good or bad. Although YouTube already offers video in general, a site like DanceJam which focus on dancing, is sure to spark interest by many. This seems like a good idea. The big question is, will the site have enough technical experts to make the site as easy to use as YouTube, and more importantly, if the site gets big traffic can the techsperts keep the site online. An even bigger obstacle is whether or not musicians like Prince, and their reps, will allow people to dance to their music free of royalty fees, or will DanceJam get hammered by lawsuits? I hope MC makes it big with this project.
