Martin Kelly Husband of Natascha McElhone is Dead

Martin Kelly (42), who was a plastic surgeon, was found on the doorstep of his home dead in London. A friend found him, and although an ambulance was called, paramedics were unable to revive him. A cause of death has not yet been released, but it could have been the result of a heart attack or lethal arrhythmia, which is also known as sudden cardiac death. Roy Greenslade, Kelly’s father said the family is in a "terrible state." He also said:

"It’s still a mystery. It’s so unexpected. Such a fit, handsome, fighting fit young man of 42. It’s just completely baffling. A medical colleague was on hand, so he had the best possible chance but was just unable to revive him."

Kelly’s wife Natascha McElhone (36) is pregnant with the couple’s third child. At the time of her husband’s death, Natascha was filming in Los Angeles. She is now on her way back to the UK with her sons Theodore (8) and Otis (5).

Dr. Kelly was a leading reconstructive surgeon and the founder of the Facing The World charity, which has treated hundreds of children born with facial disfigurements through pioneering reconstructive operations.
