Marie Osmond and Husband Call it Quits

Marie Osmond and her husband Brian Blosil confirmed to today that they are in the process of getting a divorce.

"We ask the public and the press to please respect our privacy in this matter as we focus on caring for our children and guiding them through this difficult time for our family," the couple said in a statement.

"Though our marriage is ending, we continue to have a very amicable relationship. Our marriage has always been a faithful one and neither of us is assigning fault for the divorce. Our children, as always, are our top priority and in our deep love for them we will continue to jointly fulfill our roles as active parents in their daily lives. Beyond this statement we will not be discussing the reasons for our divorce. We thank you for respecting our privacy, and more importantly, the privacy of our children and family members."

The couple married in 1986. They have 8 children.

I guess marriage didn’t work for Marie Osmond either. I wonder if she’ll do like Halle Berry and never get married again.
