Lindsay Lohan tops Maxim’s Hot 100

When I say topped, I mean Maxim put Lindsay Lohan at number one on their 2007 Hot 100 List. That isn’t saying much since the office fax machine made number two on their list. The judges must have been blind and mentally challenged teenage girls.

Momager Dina Lohan responds to the video of her daughter doing cocaine in the bathroom:

How is Lindsay holding up with the tape circulating?

“We’re not reading anything about it. You can’t let it bother you. We work so hard, then some girl just tried to make money off her [for that tape]. Lindsay doesn’t even know who her friends are."

Do you think Lindsay is at the clubs too much?

“This [premieres and parties] is the fun part of the business. She’ll be 21 in a few months. Regardless, of course, as a parents, you set boundaries and scold them. But there are these dark stories – she is so misunderstood. All she wants to do is act and have a somewhat normal life. When you’re 20, it’s normal to want to go to The Ivy, to go to the hot stores. She can’t live in a bubble.”

“You can’t let it bother you,” really? You sure about that? In case you misunderstood what was going on in that video: It was your daughter. Snorting cocaine. That should probably bother you. It might have been a good idea for Dina to deny Lindsay was snorting cocaine on the video, but she seems to think once Lindsay turns 21 she can do whatever she wants legally. Dina is really proud of her daughter. Neither of them can act, both are alcoholics, and both of them have become rich from being public spectacles. Dina always says, "Lindsay’s young and she can afford it, so why not go have fun?" Jumping off a building is free, and swimming with sharks is free, but even though it’s affordable doesn’t mean it’s a good idea.
