Levi Johnston (18) went on The Tyra Banks show and said that he and Bristol Palin practiced safe sex most of the time, but not all the time. Levi also said Alaska Governor Sarah Palin probably knew he and her daughter were having sex, especially since the couple shared a bedroom on occasion.

Levi complained a lot about Bristol’s mood swings, which he seemed to imply were the real reason behind their breakup. Levi said that he is not allowed by Bristol to take their child anywhere, even though he’s allow to see him with Bristol or her parents present.

I knew a hispanic guy in San Diego that was in love with his Chinese girlfriend, so he got a tattoo of her Chinese name in Chinese characters. The whole time the two dated, which was about three years, if I remember correctly, her sex siblings were plotting to break them up. After the tattoo was discovered the oldest brother ordered his sister to break up with the boyfriend, and it was over. The moral of the story, never get a tattoo of your girlfriend, unless she gets a tattoo of your name first, or just don’t do it at all.

Levi’s mom, Sherry, and sister Mercede, joined him on The Tyra Banks Show, talking about the gag order imposed on them during Palin’s vice presidential campaign. Mercede said:

"We were supposed to say that all questions need be brought up to the McCain campaign. Other than that we had to say ’no comment.’"

The Tyra interview with Levi will air on April 6.

A source, confirmed by People, says that Bristol is not dating, but has been "texting and chatting" with a high school boyfriend she had before Johnston. If Bristol was interested in sex enough to get pregnant while in High School, then she’s likely to sleep around now that she’s dumped her baby’s daddy.

Abstinence is a great goal, but it doesn’t work with every teenager.

    Levi Johnston has every right to tell his side of the story to anyone who will listen. I didn’t think he was acting high and mighty, just the opposite. Anyone who is not allowed to be alone with their child would have a story to tell. Just because Palin was next to someone in Gym class doesn’t mean they know her. Ted Bundy was next to someone in Gym class also. Why should anyone be held accountable, no crime was committed. The mother and father of the child should both be responsible parents. Why does his mother have to be trash, she loves and stands by her child just like Palin loves Bristol. I don’t call what Levi Johnston is going through luck and I would hope that Bristol practices what her parents preach in the future. Nobody is trying to bring Palin down. Matter of fact if her child being an unwed teenage mother brings her down she’s not as tough as she appears to be. Palin should do like Hillary Clinton when “scandal” hit, suck it up (maybe that’s the wrong term) and keep on trucking. Some people should realize that more harm is done by attacking anyone who says anything they deem bad about Palin. They sound like paranoid loose cannons with very limited intelligence. Levi, Bristol and their baby deserve the best that life has to offer. Palin has her life they have theirs, que sera sera.

    Levi Johnston has the lowest of nerve. He is still the father of the bay and yet he is willing to go on national television and dis the mother of his child and her mother. I live in Wasilla Alaska. Colony High Schoold is right down the street from my house and both of my children attended and graduated from it. Levi sits in front of Tyra high and mighty but he knew what he was doing all along. Why is he not being held accountable to the same standard as Bristol? To insinuate that Sarah knew they were having sex is ludicrus. Sarah was next to me in gym classes for 3 years prior to becoming our beloved Govenor. We love her and I think the people that are taking the time to try and bring her down are just low life dessperate people. Sarah must be a threat to te democratic party or they would not be taking so much time to try and discredit her. Look at Levi’s mother, pure trash, yet no one is holding her accountable. Levi got lucky that Bristol looked his way, I doubt she will make that mistake again. She knows now that she deserved much better.
    We here in Alaska know the truth about Sarah and all of this, it’s too bad the rest of the country cannot get an honest opinion.
    Levi and his mother should be kicked out of the state along with Mr. Monegan.
