Laura Ling and Euna Lee Released From North Korean Prison

Laura Ling (32) and Euna Lee (36) got really lucky. The pair’s boss, Al Gore, was unsuccessful in getting them released from a North Korean prison, but his former boss Bill Clinton was successful, and they are heading home on Clinton’s play to Los Angeles. Kim Jong Ill pardoned the trespassers after meeting with Clinton. The families of the former criminals said in a statement:
"We are counting the seconds to hold Laura and Euna in our arms."
"The families of Laura Ling and Euna Lee are overjoyed by the news of their pardon. We especially want to thank President Bill Clinton for taking on such an arduous mission and Vice President Al Gore for his tireless efforts to bring Laura and Euna home. We must also thank all the people who have supported our families through this ordeal, it has meant the world to us."
We hope Ling and Lee have learned their lesson.

It’s not an accident they crossed. There were 4 people on that trip. Besides Laura and Euna, there were a Chinese local guide and a male photographer (white guy, American). The white guy and local guide didn’t cross.
The white photographer and local guide were waiting for Laura and Euna by the river. The Chinese local guide certainly wouldn’t take that risk. The white photographer didn’t cross because his appearance wouldn’t blend in. It’s too obvious he doesn’t look Asian, therefore, he must be an intruder. There’s no western tourists in North Korea, OK! The North Korean guard would definitely check him out.
If it had been an innocent mistake, the local guide and white photographer wouldn’t stop going further and wait there. There’s a reason they didn’t go further. All 4 of them on that trip knew what they were doing.
I can’t stand Laura Ling. It’s their fault that they crossed the river on purpose. Pay attention to their gestures when they got off the plane. The Korean decent lady bowed, she was apologetic, she knew she made a mistake and gave a lot of people trouble.
Then here came Laura Ling, she had that victory wave. What was that? Does she think she is a hero? You broke the North Korean Law on purpose to cash in and jump star your career. Other people have to fix your problem and pay for your stupidity.
I so agree, I would lie to know what we or Bill (impeached) Clinton gave to get them out. Nothing is for free.
I was stationed on The North Korean/ South Korean Border and have knowledge of the CHinese border, and no way can you accidently cross. They snuck into the country recklessly after being advised by the USA government to stay away. They were so reckless. Now we need to know what our government had to give to get these 2 dummies out. Aid in the form of Money, promiose to tone down our rhetoric after there missle tests, what? You know they got something out of it. You put yourself in that situation, you deal with the punishment…
