Kristen Stewart was caught smoking marijuana out of a pot pipe just a few days ago in Los Angeles. Her Twilight movie may be doing well at the box office, but behavior like this could hurt her chances at making it into the Twilight remake, or at least put a cap on her salary.
Last we checked it was still a crime in California to smoke marijuana unless you have a medical need. Boredom doesn’t qualify.

I think Kristin Stewart should be removed from all future Twilight projects. This was enormously irresponsible of her with the known huge teen fanbase that follows Twilight. If she’s this stupid and careless to be doing this openly in broad daylight what other liabilities does she impose in the future? It’s like she doesnt even care. Either she is a complete moron or the Twilight attention has gone to her head & she thinks she is just that big that she can do whatever she wants w/o reprocussion. Summit Entertainment open your eyes. This girl has a real trash factor about her & becomes more evident every time she publicly speaks, goes out, & even down to her attire!

I agree with the first comment. She can do as she pleases but not this way. Well yes almost everyone have done it but not almost everyone is being watched by the cameras and looked up to.
Also, they have rewritten the script quite a few times for the movie Twilight because she wouldnt say some of the lines just because she didnt like them. She really think she’s THAT big.

Who cares if she smokes or drinks?? many celebs do it many normal ppl do it so back off of her she has a life outside of twilight and acting and how do we know that is pot or anything like ppl are saying?? and w/e she does outside of acting it clearly doesn’t get in the way of her doing her job so really ppl leave her alone she has a right to live her life like any of us. Not cool, not cool at all. She has young fans, so she should be more responsible. It’s also going to damage her career reputation as well, not to mention it’s illegal. Hopefully she’ll stop.

Celebs think they can get away with anything. Smoking weed on your front porch in the middle of the day is proof that Stewart hates being a part of the Twilight franchise. She is obviously hoping to shed her sweet, innocent little reputation that she is getting through the Twilight series. Next thing you know, she’ll be posing nude in a magazine.
Twilight made her a big name, but I doubt she wants to be Bella Swan for the rest of her career. She just wants out so she can get back to her indie stuff.
Not only that, but she has a TON of young fans. Most of the $70.6 million that came in opening weekend was from people under the age of 18. Whether she likes it or not- this kind of stuff is completely unacceptable. While Rob might be photographed a little drunk every now and then- he’s over 21, it’s not illegal, and we always see him getting into a cab or someone else is driving him. He is doing nothing wrong. But this behavior is unprofessional and idiotic on her part. There is no doubt in my mind that it was a stunt to get ousted from her contract. What she underestimates is the fact that Twilight is a cash cow that Summit will milk for all it’s worth, and she’s one of the two absolutely irreplaceable people in it. Anything short of a DUI or a playboy spread and she’s not going anywhere. Unfortunately. The real crime here is that people are gushing over such a bland performance she gave in the movie.

Prove it’s a drug plz. Even if she is a stoner who cares really. It’s not like she does anything important. Her acting doesn’t require a lot of higher brain functions anyways.

what does twilight have anything to do with this? She was probably smoking pot back when she was first seen in a rape movie on lifetime. Stop blaming twilight and she probably got away with smoking pot that day because um maybe it was a photographer taking the picture not a police officer. First of all having possesion of pot is up to 5 years in jail in canada. but im assuming the states is the same, if not worse.

Honestly, a lot of people smoke pot. I think people are just making a big deal out of ir because she is a celebrity. She was not smoking pot on the set, and it doesn’t seem to have affected her acting. So why are people so upset? People do drugs, that is something that needs to accepting, even if it is upseting. And technically, it has not been proven to be weed. People immediately jump to the worst conclusions because it was a pipe, but for all we know it could be tobacco.
How do these people even know it is marijuana if it is she should stop b4 she harms herself or goes to prison

Seriously, I like her MORE because of this. I’m not a pothead but I’ve tried it and smoke from time to time and I’d much rather see someone get stoned than get drunk.
Alcohol is *far* more dangerous than marijuana, and the fact that it’s still illegal is an affront to civil liberties and what this nation was founded upon.

hasn’t anyone ever heard of salvia? that’s legal, you smoke it the same way you smoke pot, and it’s really easy to find. It could just as easily be salvia as it could be pot. regardless, what shes doing isn’t a big deal. She can’t go to jail for what she is doing, the most she can get is a fine. Unless shes packing so much that it looks like shes dealing. which shes not as far as i can tell. She’s young and what shes doing isn’t that harmful. people need to chill, which most of us here seem to agree upon. GO Kristen, whatever she might be doing.

I don’t think she is a very good actress but she was okay in Twilight. Celebrities get away with everything they do. Its only the normal people that get in trouble because if some normal person was to do this they would get put in jail at that moment but yet she can get away with it.

Well, most people have gone through a time in their life where they experimented with drugs or alchohol. She seems to have a bit of anxiety from the inteviews I have seen of her. I think that they picked great actors for Bella and Edward, but ultimately they are actors and I think people are transfering their love for the characters on to the actors. They are just people. My hopes is she pulls through this and keeps sharing her gift of acting. She is very young.

Unless Kristen is dying from a terminal illness then she doesn’t have a medical order that makes it legal for her to smoke pot.

I find this all a little ridiculous. If you want role models look into your own lives and find people there. It’s actually all of these people around you that drive those ’stars’ to do these type of things.
She was just a regular girl going through all of this and lets face it. Fans ARE a little mental. They think they love all these stars but they really don’t know crap about them or who they actually are as people.
If it IS pot, it wasn’t her best option to sit outside and do it with her boyfriend. If it’s tobacco that’s perfectly legal.
If you were in her shoes and someone asked you just after you turned 18 if you smoked, wouldn’t you deny it for your image? Besides she’s had previous roles where she smokes. It’s no wonder she doesn’t become addicted.
Look at her in the movie In The Land of Women. She smokes in that and she’s portraying a teenager.
Everyone should take a chill pill. If they like her as an actress then that’s really all that matters. There are plenty of well off actors that have bad habits. It doesn’t define who she is.

Sorry, but it’s BS that she would need to have a terminal illness for it to be legal in California. I have a legal recommendation from my doctor based on my insomnia, migraines, and appetite problems… and I’m not dying anytime soon from those conditions.
You should learn what the laws are before you go posting them.
