Kirsten Dunst Turning Japanese Music Video

Kirsten Dunst starred as a Cosplay girl in a music video singing a song called Turning Japanese. The video was produced by artist Takashi Murakami, and directed by McG who also directed Terminator Salvation. Cosplay is short for costume play, and it’s huge in Japan.
The music video screened at a London show last fall called Pop Life: Art in a Material World.

this video is a great work of art.
Kirsten Dunst is sublime, and exquisite.
I love the way she sings and always keeps a straight face.
The colours she is wearing reflect the colours of the graphics all around her.she is supposed to be a giant magical princess.
I first saw this in the Pop Life show at the Tate in London and fell in love with it.
Do you think Kirsten Dunst knows that this is a song about masturbation?
This is an AWFUL cover.
Should have mentioned that this song is a cover of the same by an English band called “The Vapors”.
This is really awful, what a waste… It’s neither culturally interesting or entertaining at all, and the performance by Kirsten Dunst is mediocre and lifeless at best.
awww poor V, someone needs a hug. Great video, looks like they had a fun time. Great cover of a great song.
