Kim Kardashian isn’t talking about her "curves" anymore, because she has been losing weight. Kim posted a new picture of herself in a bikini looking much slimmer. Kim received this message from someone on Twitter:

"RT @kenbakernow Um @kimkardashian u look amazing. So Quick Trim works!?"

To which Kim replied:

"Yes it does!"

Kim tweeted below the picture of her slimmer self in a bikini above:

"Quick Trim photo shoot today in Miami! I finally feel I’ve reached my goal!"

Quick Trim is a set of weight loss products.

Kim defended Jessica Simpson putting on a lot of weight, and talked about how beautiful it was. If Kim wasn’t a hypocrite she wouldn’t have tried to lose weight.

I want to congratulate Kim on doing what needed to be done to get her body to a healthier weight. It’s obvious Kim feels so good about her results she wants to share, and hopefully this will inspire others to make that same effort.

It’s very difficult to lose weight because it requires self control.

Those people who are overweight have a problem where their insulin hormone converts any and all carbohydrates, including sugar, into fats and triglycerides, and then stores that fat in fat cells. Many studies have been done that show 80% of the population have the same problem with insulin that leads to obesity, and addressing that problem leads to weight loss, and a healthy weight.

To lose weight reduce your meal portions to match your activity level, then keep your carbohydrate intake to 30 to 50 grams each day. When you keep your carbohydrates low your pancreas produces much less insulin.

The body is able to prevent low blood sugar by passing protein broken down into amino acids from your food into sugar. The amino acids are sent to the liver which can make about 2 cups of sugar each day. The body will also burn fat from fat cells when you keep your carbohydrates below 30 to 50 grams per day.

Not only will this approach work for everyone, it doesn’t cost any extra money for a weight loss program or weight loss products, and the only changes in your health are positive.

One point to keep in mind is to make sure you get enough fiber, which your colon uses to stay healthy. Most sources of fiber are foods that contain a lot of carbohydrates. The right amount of fiber each day is about 20 -30 grams, but it can be a balancing act as you search for high fiber sources with low enough carbohydrates to keep your weight under control.

I have found that beans are an especially effective source of fiber, but you have to read the label. Kidney beans contain a lot of sugar, and may cause some people to gain weight. Two of the best low sugar, low carbohydrate, and high fiber beans are black beans and pinto beans. Most people can get enough fiber by eating about half to a whole 15 ounce can of black or pinto beans right out of the can, without warming them, on a 4 cup bowl of lettuce salad, without anything else on it, except olive oil, and cheese.

Eating fat doesn’t make a person fat. The body uses fat just the way it is ingested, or it passes it out. Sugar and carbohydrates are converted into fat by insulin, which is what really makes a person fat. A label that says low or no fat, but contains a lot of sugar and carbohydrates will make you very fat.

To live a person only needs protein and healthy fats. The body makes up to 2 cups of sugar each day from protein, and burns fat from fat cells if you keep your food intake of carbohydrates below 30 to 50 grams per day, along with portion sizes that match your activity level.

Bookmark this article, tell your friends about it, and try this advice yourself. You will find this to be the best weight loss program ever, but only if you have the self discipline to keep those carbs low.

Here’s something else to remember. There was a recent study done in Australia that showed each time a person ate any form of carbohydrates, from grains (like cereal and breads), potatoes, rice, etc., there was a dopamine release in the brain, just like when a person takes drugs, which then cause the person to start craving carbohydrates again within an hour. If you want to stop craving carbohydrates and sweets, then only eat protien and healthy fats.

To help stop the carbohydrate cravings take 5 grams of glutamine, and your cravings will decrease within about 30 minutes, but buy a high quality form of glutamine.

In case you’re wonder what glutamine does, here’s an explanation. About 80% of glutamine is absorbed by the small intestine, which plays a very large role in the immune system. Cabbage contains a lot of glutamine, and cabbage juice used to be used to cure stomach ailments like ulcers.

Weight loss, and keeping your weight at a healthy level, starts with the realization that your body needs you to work with it, not against it. If you eat carbs, and that makes you fat, then you eat an amount of carbs that keeps the weight off. Be good to your body, and you’ll have a better life.

  1. Um, does anyone else think her “tummy” muscles look rather “painted” on? She lost some weight alright, but I’m thinking that stripe running down the front is a little too straight.
