I was relieved to find, quite by accident, …

I was relieved to find, quite by accident, one day, that humans are born with a gland, in the brain, that keeps metabolism up and running. The gland, wish I had remembered the name of it, does begin to stop working around age 26. So, I laughed as I looked back at my own life to see that after 26 (and I was pregnant that year)…I was never able to keep as lean as I had formerly been without any effort. So, now, over 50, I am content that changing my diet…avoiding some grains and milk, I am actually feeling pretty good and even my daughter says I look younger. So much is also linked to emotions and forgiveness, too. Look up quantum forgiveness. It has helped me alot. As I judge others less, I feel less judged and eat less.
What a concept. I hope Jessica finds peace. She is just fine.

She’s not fat at all, just a bit heavier than she used to be. To say she’s obese is ridiculous, and she’s probably a lot healthier than all the super skinny actresses around at the moment. You’re not worried about her at all, you’re just hiding behind your computer with your “best friends”, the ‘Glycemic Index and aerobics’, being a little b*tch. “I am very athletic, so posting my picture would probably make you think I was born muscular” Haha…
I don’t understand how she could be classified as obese? I agree she has put on a bit of weight and probably would need to address it if she continues to gain.
From that picture all i can see is someone who has gained a bit not a lot. I just think it seems unfair to call her obese based on the photo.
Man, if ya dont like the stuff he’s writing then dont read anymore.. He just saying what’s on his mind…and people shouldnt take it too seriously either…
Seriously though, if you are so athletic and muscular then what do you have to hide? Show a picture! Not everyone is built the same. I am curvy like Jessica and Kim (a little bit smaller) and run 3-5 miles/ day and do an hour of pilates/yoga/dance a day on top of that. I eat about 1200-1500 kcal/day. In order for me to be “skinny” Jess (which I have been!) I had to starve on top of the exercise. Everyone is different. And you are ignorant to not understand this concept. Especially when it comes to women’s bodies!
I understand the “concept” very well indeed. The Glycemic Index and aerobics can be your best friends. At least you are doing something to keep your weight under the best control you can, as well as exercising to keep your blood chemistry healthy, which is exactly what I’m talking about. I salute you.
I don’t post pictures of myself because I’m not a fame whore, but I’d be happy to post yours to show Jessica what healthy looks like.
Thoughtless comments like yours are why so many young women become anorexic. Karen Carpenter became anorexic because a thoughtless reporter talked about her being chubby instead of concentrating on her beautiful voice. Why don’t you show a little responsibility instead of throwing out cheap shots? Or better yet, post YOUR PICTURE and let us comment on that.
I am very athletic, so posting my picture would probably make you think I was born muscular, and don’t have to exercise.
Obesity kills. Advising someone to keep their weight healthy, after they’ve become obviously obese, doesn’t lead to anorexia. In fact, anorexia is classified as a mental illness.
I’m not putting Jessica down, I’m concerned about her health. You should be too. If Jessica were too thin, like Lindsay Lohan is right now, then I’d be concerned she needed to eat more.
YOU are obviously sensitive about your own weight, and we understand your frustration. Try the Glycemic Index, and some aerobic exercise.
