Kevin Federline Turns Down Britney Spears Offer for Him to Give Up His Rights as a Father
The Star, which is not a reliable source, is reporting that Kevin Federline turned down a $25 million divorce settlement, because the settlement includes his giving up his rights as a father. The source insists it’s not greed, but love of their kids.
“Kevin says that Britney offered him $10 million to walk away from their marriage and to relinquish custody of their kids, but he just laughed. Then she came back with $20 million which he turned down too,” a source told the tab “Now he says she’s offering a whopping $25 million, and that’s her final offer. He told her to take a hike! He loves his two little boys, and there’s no way he’s going to disappear from their lives.”
As unfair as some may think it is, and as much as everyone likes to see the guy always get screwed in a divorce, K-Fed is entitled to 50% of Britney Spears’ money just like a woman would be if the roles were reversed. Fortunately for K-Fed, Spears has never accused him of beating her, and any accusations of being a bad parent can be made of her as well.
In my opinion, Britney should give K-Fed half of everything, and agree to joint custody of the kids so no child support is required. That’s fair under the community property law, and it’s best for the kids. Besides, Spears can make that money back in no time if she gets serious about getting back to work. Another reason K-Fed deserves half of the money is the reason so many women use in a divorce, that the children live a certain lifestyle with the mother, in this case, and should be able to live that lifestyle when they are with the father as well.
I love the picture above, Britney has all the necessities: pack of smokes, Red Bull, trashy outfit with pants falling down, and an assistant to carry her dog, who would be carrying Sean Preston if he were with her that day.
On this day, January 26, Spears, 25, picked up some groceries and sympathy cards in Malibu, California. Spears mourned the loss of her aunt Sandra Covington, 59, who died of breast cancer, at a January 23 funeral in Amite, L.A. Very sad.
An assistant pushed the cart as Spears sucked on a lollipop “because she’s trying to quit smoking,” says a source.
In all fairness, and being objective, do you think K-Fed should get half of the money? Do you think a joint child custody agreement would be most beneficial for the children?

I do not feel he should get anything, I believe he used brittany for what she was worth and had no intentions on staying with her for a long time. I believe he sould get visitation rights but he should have to pay child-support to her.

Agreed. He shouldn’t get half because he signed a prenup. If you don’t agree to do what it says, then you shouldn’t sign it in the first place. Plus, he didn’t earn it. He shouldn’t get it.
I hate Britney, But I also think that K-Fed is f*cked up and doesn’t deserve anything from her. He had nothing before her except three kids and an ugly ex-wife. I think the kids should live with Britney’s mother.

Hell no, he does not deserve half!!! As stated above, he signed the prenup. As far as custody goes, he is going to become disenchanted with them, after the attention on him fades. He’s only doing this to keep his name attached to tabloids a little while longer. He knows the novelty is wearing off quickly, and it’s only a matter of time before his VIP to burger flipping commercial is the truth.
He should not get half, he signed a prenup and that is what he gets. This man had the life and ruined it all by himself. Brit was the devoted wife and put up with all his crap and he just kept it up. So she is done and this is his fault, if he would have been the dovoted husband and father and not a rappin thug he would not be in this situation. What did he have before Brit? “NOTHING”
