Katie Holmes Dances on So You Think You Can Dance
There was so much hype about Katie Holmes dance number for So You Think You Can Dance, and the show built a big extravagant set as a tribute to Judy Garland, which resulted in the pre-taped video above, that wasn’t performed before a live audience.
Let’s see now, Judy Garland could sing and dance, and she was oozing charisma, but Holmes lacks all three. Holmes didn’t even dance, and her singing, although it sounded professionally trained, didn’t make me want to listen at all. I don’t like being so harsh, but Holmes performance sucked big time. This seems like it was a favor to Tom Cruise, otherwise the show could have picked any number of real performers to give a memorable performance.

Singing?!? She was lip-syncing! If you still have it on DVR or on tape, watch her mouth!
I thought she was great, and a testament to what the charity being promoted is trying to achieve. It was just light hearted fun. Why does everything have to be taken so seriously?
The performance sucked. Couldn’t agree with you more.
come on, lets be honest, she did dance some.
But, she is not Judy Garland and doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same page as Judy G!!!!
