Kate Gosselin Refuses to Give Daughter Water
In shocking footage below, Kate Gosselin sits with her eight kids as they prepare to do a television interview with Access Hollywood in January. The kids complain they’re thirsty.
"I want a drink!" Mady pleads. "I haven’t had a drink all day."
Kate ignores her.
"Mom, I’m going to get dehydrated!" Mady pleads again.
Kate dismisses her: "Yes, me too."
Kate then orders a bottle of water. But instead of offering her daughter a sip, the mom of 8 takes a quick drink.
"I need a drink now!" Mady pleads.
Kate tells her to "be quiet," prompting Mady to cry, "You’re really, really mean!"
Yes, mommy is mean. Kate certainly looks selfish, and self consumed in this shot to us, which is characteristic of a pathological narcissistic personality disorder. It doesn’t surprise us that Jon Gosselin sought affection from another woman. I feel sorry for the kids. Mommy doesn’t seem to care about the kid’s needs, just her own. This isn’t Kate’s first time ignoring her kids, and this isn’t the first time they’ve referred to her as a "mean mommy."
Cancel the show, SAVE THE KIDS!
Today is the Gosselin’s 10th wedding anniversary. Congrats!
Kate said of a photo taken at the sextuplets’ recent fifth birthday party:
"I am thinking this possibly could be our last family picture together. I don’t know…parents of multiples have, like, triple the divorce rate, and I was thinking we were gonna beat that. I don’t know if I can say that anymore. Very swiftly, we turned into two different people, and that’s just hard. I’ve tried for six months to figure out what the problem is, or remedy the problem. It’s so complicated."
We can tell you what the problem is Kate, you are a selfish, cold-hearted, um what’s the word, well you get my point. There’s nothing complicated. You’re the problem Kate, and you’ve pushed Jon away with your selfishness, and now you’re pushing your kids away too. Give the kids to Jon, and go live YOUR life. We know that won’t happen, because the kids are Kate’s paycheck.

You know you’re right I went overboard.. she should have given her water and not just drink it in front of her… she did try to get it but she’s more worried about how she’s going to look on TV etc… she should have got up and picked up the bottle.
It still doesn’t change the fact that the whole family is out of whack because of the money and the fame and the kids are wild and spoiled and the parents don’t have their priorities straight.. Jon does but then? Kate IMO but who knows?

Let me guess, her defense is. "If I give Mady a drink then? ALL the kids will want a drink … it’ll be anarchy!! CATS & DOGS … LIVING TOGETHER!! MASS HYSTERIA!" I’m no parent, but it’s not cool to take a drink yourself and then fake like you’re going to give your daughter one.

Then you should know if a person is experiencing thirst they are already on the road to dehydration. The point is she could have given her VERY thirsty? daughter a quick sip, but decided not too. Probably worried about getting their little outfits wet. She should have went without also if she wasn’t going to give her daughter any. That is pure cold-hearted selfishness!

I am not sure why she asked for a botttle of water for? herself, but she did address the kids that they would be having water after the interview. There should not be double standards for the adult, but she might not have known how soon the interview would start. Once one kid asks,all the others ask, then bathroom. Her military-like short clear rules keep order and consistency. Yet…sometimes I am uncomfortable that she is too rigid , picky, angry, & treats her husband like one of the kids.

OK first of all yes Kate can be a B!tch sometimes but living with 8 kids has got to be hard. Jon could have helped a little more and made the relationship more of a priotrity but i mean its their life let them live it the way they want. The kids should get to live a normail life. Yeah it was fun seeing them grow up but with all this crap happening they should be left alone by the “P” people.

2nd – she did it to herself. i miss the old more simple kate rather than this 24/7 ORANGE kate
3rd – i really hope that their kids have a normal life
4th – when their kids are all grown up, they’ll see these old clips and from the looks of it, im sure they’ll hate kate
everyone needs to stop nit picking. she asked about drinks for the kids later and she was about to give mady a drink but they had to interview! c’mon everyone acts like she abuses her kids and mady is know to be dramatic. im sure she got a drink right after they were done. if you have so much time on your hands to sit here and watch other peoples live they you claim to hate that is really sad. find something better to do!!

Kate has forgotten the role she chose when she and Jon decided to have children. That is to always put the needs of the children above all else. To deny a child a drink because it is an inconvenience at the moment is cruel and heartless. There is no way Kate can explain herself out of this. It is time that they drop the show and speaking engagements. Jon should get a real 9-5 job and Kate go back to nursing part-time and raise your children with love and live life as the world does – one day at a time!
Kate, you have lost your viewers and the respect of many mom’s across the world. Jon, we love you for trying to keep your life as real as possible under the circumstances. There is no excuse for Kate’s bad behavior toward her husband or her children. NONE!
One of many choices that Kate will regret when the kids grow up and throw it up in her face! and all the fame is gone and money. Kate will be losing the relationship with her kids!
I need to watch the video but if you are a parent you know what happens when one kid wants a drink. Then, as someone previously commented, the others want a drink. Eight kids fighting over a bottle. It would be anarchy. I have kids and know what would ensue. She probably took a drink since she would be talking. I think this whole thing had been blown out of proportion. Isn’t it a little harsh to label this woman a cold-hearted b!tch for not letting her child have a sip of water before an interview. They aren’t in Kalahari desert people!
I cant believe what a b!tch this woman turned out to be. I used to love the show, Im a single mother of 5(long story) and i admired this family.Funny how a little fame brings out the true character of a person, yes what Jon is doing, if he is doing it, is wrong and unfair but at least when he is around the kids he is not showing them his selfish side….bottom line she is acting like a pop star diva when all she really has become is a bad mom and really Jon deserves better!!!!
It appears as Kate was taking a quick swig and then was signaled to prepare for the interview. She puts the bottle down and gets ready. She then appears to reach around to grab the bottle again and decides against it. I am not a fan of Kate but I think we are all just a bit too quick to judge.

If Kate were a good mother she would have allowed her daughter sitting next to her to take a drink before she did. Kids come first.
