John McCain Volunteered Wife Cindy for No Top Beauty Pageant
Posted on August 5, 2008 at 10:52 pm (PST)
John McCain volunteered his wife Cindy McCain to participate in a beauty pageant in Sturgis, South Dakota that has women competing without a top on. McCain said to the crowd:
"I was looking at the Sturgis schedule, and noticed that you had a beauty pageant, so I encouraged Cindy to compete. I told her that with a little luck, she could be the only woman to serve as both the First Lady and Miss Buffalo Chip."
It is unclear if McCain knew the specifics of the pageant, but the audience loved the sentiment. The only event that could have gotten McCain more votes in Sturgis would have been to enter Cindy in a mud wrestling contest, with Cindy pitted against Michelle Obama.

Wow! How cute. Just like an elderly grandfather trying to make a joke about something he has no clue about. Yep, just the man we need in the oval office. If it was Barack who suggested, I can only imagine that you’d be accusing him of being misogynistic and wondering how someone like him could even be in consideration for president.

Well that would just show how out of touch he is. Definitely not my choice if that can go over his head I can only imagine what else could.
