John McCain May Sue The National Enquirer

The National Enquirer ran a story alleging that Sarah Palin had an affair with her husband’s business partner. McCain’s campaign released the following statement:
“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Governor Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie.”
“The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it.”
“Sen. McCain and Governor Palin look forward to discussing the issues that Americans care about, fixing broken government, creating jobs, making our country energy independent and securing the peace for the next generation by bringing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to a victorious end.”
“Legal action will be considered with regard to this disgraceful smear.”
With regard to the allegation that Sarah tried to get her ex brother in-law fired from his State Trooper job, that same Trooper tasered his own 10 year-old son, and there’s a lot more about him that proves he may have been a criminal who had a badge. Palin fought a lot of corruption, which doesn’t make corrupt officials like you very much.
When media outlets feel compelled to lie about Palin, it shows not only their bias, but their fear that an honest person might get into the White House, and put a stop to their bending the rules in a way that hurts the American people.
TEAM PALIN!
