Joe Biden is Not Smart on the Economy
Joe Biden has impressed me recently with his honesty. First he said the attack ads on Sarah Palin and John McCain were "terrible." Refreshing.
Biden then said he thought Hillary Clinton would have made a better Vice Presidential pick that himself, and should have been the Presidential nominee.
Lastly, Biden really put both feet in his mouth, or at least he should have before he talk about the stock market crash in 1929. Biden said the President at that time was Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, who got on television … Wait a minute, F.D.R. wasn’t President at that time, it was Herbert Hoover (a Quaker), who served from 1929 to 1933. Sometimes Biden says some really dumb things, but his lack of historic knowledge regarding the stock market crash is especially concerning with our current stock market crash occurring now. Oh, and television didn’t exist when Hoover was President either. Biden said in the clip below, “Part of what a leader does is to instill confidence by demonstrating what he or she knows what they’re talking about …” Oops.
Below is a historical video about Herbert Hoover. It’s good to know who our Presidents were, and are today, not just what other people say and said about them.
