i feel so sorry for her that her career is down the drain – maybe her manager should just let her retire while people still remember how successful she once was…instead of whoring her out and have everyone see how bad she is now.

    since when can “singers” really sing nowadays? they are really performers! kudos to the record label who package/market these people so well that the general public buy their music eventho they can’t sing! look at spears, simpson, perry, etc. they sound so good in recordings but they can’t do the same when singing live…why would anyone pay to listen to this in concert? i was disappointed at stefani when she sang on last season’s AI…her music is great ( but not her singing) and she is great at getting those killer abs!!!!

    I think that Jessica looks good with some extra weight on her, she just needs to rethink her style, and dress a little more appropriately. As for her career, I know she tried (unsuccessfully) to go country, but she should go back to what she is good at and known for. She doesn’t have to be mainstream to be successful! She has a good fanbase already. Something to think about before the next “American Idol” season. She could mentor like some other artists have done, who have been out of the spotlight for awhile.

    does it really matter if she’s fat? at least it gives her some media attention.
