Jessica Sierra Arrested Again in a Bar

Just weeks after agreeing to a plea deal to avoid jail time for battery and cocaine possession charges, former American Idol contestant Jessica Sierra has been arrested overnight for refusing to leave a Ybor City Bar. Officers were called to the Full Moon Saloon, 1612 East 7th Avenue, around 2 am this morning. When cops arrived they made contact with Sierra, who was causing a disturbance, and asked her to leave the bar, cops say. However Sierra continued to be unruly, according to officers, and refused to leave, becoming "combative" with officers. Cops say she began yelling at passerbys, and Sierra was taken into custody. Cops say she attempted to flee the scene after being arrested.

Sierra was charged with disorderly intoxication and opposing an officer without violence. She is currently in the Orient Road Jail on no bond.

Almost 2 weeks ago Sierra was given 12 months probation for an April incident where she threw a glass at a patron’s head at the Hyde Park Cafe in South Tampa. When she was booked into the jail in April, a deputy found cocaine on her. She also faces a civil lawsuit from the victim in that case.

Sierra spent several months earlier this year in rehab and will be appearing in the new VH1 show "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."

Addiction is a lifelong problem. It took Lindsay Lohan three times to get clean, and I’m hoping she stays clean. Looks like Sierra needs a few more times in rehab, and more changes in her life before she can kick the bottle to the curb.
