Jersey Shore Cast Want Big Pay Raise

MTV offered Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation, and other cast members of Jersey Shore a signing bonus of $10,000, and $5,000 an episode, but the cast rejected the offer. MTV then offered them $10,000 per episode. The cast hasn’t responded to the new offer.
The Hills cast was getting over $100,000 an episode. Jersey Shore ended their first season with 4.8 million viewers, which is a ton. The cast are under contract for another year, but MTV hasn’t made a final decision as to whether to bring the show back for a second year.
The question is whether Jersey Shore still has enough advertisers to pay the cast what they are asking, but they can really attract a crowd.
The Jersey Shore cast showed up for a meet and greet a the Montclair nightclub in New Jersey. The club can only hold 800 people, but 2,000 showed up, and when some couldn’t get in fights broke out, and 4 people were arrested on disorderly conduct and DUI.
