Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox To Kiss on Dirt

Jennifer Aniston is very close to her best friend, Courtney Cox Arquette, and she’s about to get even closer. Aniston is guest-starring in Arquette’s FX show, "Dirt," playing her archenemy, a rival tabloid editor. But even better, according to Michael Ausiello of TVGuide, "Aniston’s character is a lesbian. What’s more, she won’t just mouth off to Cox’s tightly wound counterpart; she’s going to share a lip lock with her." Reps for Aniston and Cox didn’t return e-mails.
Dirt seems desperate to appeal to the gay crowd. There is nothing wrong with having gay characters, but what’s wrong with appealing to the heterosexual crowd too? The majority of readers of celebrity news and gossip are heterosexual women, and that would then make-up the majority of viewers of Dirt. How about having Aniston be a heterosexual woman who has a lesbian kiss with her friend Cox, and discovers she was confused and realizes she is 100% heterosexual? It’s a mistake to think that a heterosexual female audience is only interested in gay issues and episodes. Even the basketball player had heterosexual sex and then had the female do him in the butt with a strap on. C’mon, write a good story, but don’t trash heterosexuals so much. Dirt is starting to reflect the gay blogs’ agenda rather than appealing to the interest of heterosexual women in the audience.
Comment on what kind of episode you’d like to see on Dirt? Amateur screen-writers welcome.

MAYBE THEY ARE REAL LESBIANS. JENIFER IS A MAN AND COX IS A WOMEN????
Many people in our society are just not able to accept reality and judge everyone else by their own lifestyle and beliefs. The role of an actress or actor is to reflect reality as well as fantasy. To judge an actress by the role they play makes no sense. Although heterosexual myself, I have absolutely no problem with alternative lifestyles and certainly will not give up the possiblity of learning from writers willing to explore the reality of our world.
I PREDICT THIS WILL CAUSE A SHORT LIVED SHOW, AND WILL CAUSE A DECLINE IN THEIR CAREERS. WHO CARES.
WHEN WILL PRODUCERS LEARN TO GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THE PEOPLE LIKE INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY WANT THEM TO HAVE!!!! THEY WILL NEVER LEARN.
If Aniston and Cox were to play lesbian or gay charactors it would affect the way I feel about them in genereal. I would not go and see any more of their movies that they starred in, just because of the characters they protrayed in a gay or homosexual manner.. I will not support any cause that promotes that kind of lifestyle, music or otherwise………..
