I-35 Minneapolis Bridge Collapsing – Video
This is a horrible and unexpected tragedy. The bridge was said to have been structurally sound, so did someone sabotage it?
Authorities said the bridge was going to be evaluated to see when it would be replaced, and had not been closed to traffic. One part was having routine maintenance. The bridge was built in 1967, and a full engineering evaluation was to be done in September after the maintenance was completed.
