House of Representatives Passes Wall Street Bailout Bill

The $700 billion mortgage and Wall Street bailout bill has been passed. Now those who could not afford their mortgages have a little more time until they default on their loans again. Then what happens?

Nancy Pelosi also said Barney Frank will be holding hearings to see who is responsible, and what happened to get us to this market meltdown. Barney is the most responsible, yet he’s the one overseeing the investigation. Looks like the democrats are trying to coverup their responsibility. If Nancy wanted to be non-partisan, she would have appointed a Republican, or even better, and independent investigator, rather than putting the fox in charge of the hen house, which is why we’re in this mess.

Did I mention the bill was full of pork? It seems the financial crisis should have been the ONLY money included in the bill, but the pork, that John McCain is against, was too irresistable, as usual. What are the democrats going to say when the market crashes again? They’ll blame George Bush and the Republican minority.

This morning, despite this bill passing, the stock market is still selling off, so keep your fingers crossed. We might be more than $4,000 poorer per tax payer, and have nothing to show for it, except for the fact our democrat congress proved they can screw us even in dire times. Although I hope the democrat majority congress did the right thing, their track record says otherwise. We are now one step closer to socialism thanks to the democrat party.
