Hospital Staff Fired for Reading Nadya Suleman Medical Records

Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center announced today that thirteen hospital staff resigned, two were fired, and another eight were disciplined for accessing the medical records of Nadya Suleman in violation of her right to privacy. Kaiser Permanente’s SoCal media relations director Jim Anderson said:
"Despite the notoriety of this case, to us this person is a patient who deserves the privacy that all our patients get."
Octomom says she won’t be taking any legal action … at this time. We’re not sure she could win any damages from the hospital anyway, since none of the employees leaked any information to the media.
We are left wondering if the employees were trying to find out the sperm donor’s name, or if Nadya has a history of mental illness.
