Hillary Clinton Dropping Out of Presidential Race
Hillary Clinton is rumored to be considering dropping out of the presidential race after coming in third in Iowa, trailing Obama in many states in polls, and even receiving criticism from Michael Moore after she declined to answer his "tough" questions. The Drudge Report reports:
Facing a double-digit defeat in New Hampshire, a sudden collapse in national polls and an expected fund-raising drought, Senator Hillary Clinton is preparing for a tough decision: Does she get out of the race? And when?!
"She can’t take multiple double-digit losses in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada," laments one top campaign insider to the DRUDGE REPORT. "If she gets too badly embarrassed, it will really harm her. She doesn’t want the Clinton brand to be damaged with back-to-back-to-back defeats."
Meanwhile, Democrat hopeful John Edwards has confided to senior staff that he is staying in the race because Hillary "could soon be out."
"Her money is going to dry up," Edwards confided, a top source said Monday morning.
Key players in Clinton’s inner circle are said to be split. James Carville is urging her to fight it out through at least February and Super Tuesday, where she has a shot at thwarting Barack Obama in a big state.
"She did not work this hard to get out after one state! All this talk is nonsense," said one top adviser.
But others close to the former first lady now see no possible road to victory, sources claim.
If Hilary does drop out can Obama beat the Republican nominee? My prediction is Rudy Giuliani will be the guy to beat. Anyone else have a prediction?

Wow !! Rich white republicans ??
She was the only hope of the democrats… the fact is at some point in the future the fact that Obama is a muslim will be out there… You can’t study in a madrasa unless you are a muslim and you can’t stop being a muslim lest you have a fatwah to be killed issued on you like Rushdi… As soon as the facts of his religion go into the open you’ll see him drop in the polls like a stone in water. Hillary as much as I dispise her was the only chance to keep the rich white republicans from keeping the white house.
This is very surprising.
If this does happen, it pretty much assures a Democraric win in the November presidential election. The major polls show Hilary beating whoever the Republican nominee might be, but they show Obama beating the Republican nominee much worse. All the GOP can do is hang their hat on an unlikely Edwards nomination.
I don’t think Rudy will be the Republican nominee.
I think that Hilary should drop out and become a humanitarian of the sorts Oprah might endorse the next election…spend all her campaign contributions on hand-ups, using that money to help those who really need it, not the media taking all those millions…it’s tragic. And the little working class American gets lost.
