Ailin, I’d never assume a remake would be an improvement over the original. True, there are some remakes that seem better than the original – but that’s usually until you actually listen to the original (not just your mom or dad singing it).

Yes its the same beat, same song, same ending, even some of the same words. And you know what? haha, I think I like the depeche one more. You’d think a re-make should be an imoprovement but obviously its worst than the original.
I think that Hilary Duff’s career has really gone down the drain. She used to be my favorite actress, but now she hasn’t been in anything good in YEARS! Come on! What is up with this video! I can see Miley doing something like this, but Hilary Duff? I thought she was disney’s last good girl!?!?!?
You have to see that hilary duff doesn;t write her own songs… She most likely has a group of people like all the teen crap does. So the writter and producer ripped of personal Jesus… that talentless hack probably doesnt even know the song.
If a song closely resembles another, there’s gotta be permission to use or there will be a lawsuit.
See Huey Lewis and the News (I Want A New Drug) vs. Ray Parker Jr. (Ghostbusters)
Oh come ON Gary!!! Sheesh!! She is using the most identifiable parts of Personal Jesus… Hillary probably got permission from Depeche Mode or something. She would have had to because it is soooo obvious.
I am sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this one. Beat matched some, but rhythm and score doesn’t. I don’t care for Hill but i played both side by side and do not see a steal.
