Hannah Montana is Dead

hannah montana cancelled Hannah Montana is Dead

Disney has announced their most successful kid’s show ever, Hannah Montana starring Miley Cyrus, will be cancelled after the upcoming fourth season. Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett senior VP/programming said:

"You never know in this business, but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes."

"The fourth season will premiere in late spring."

"The new episodes will continue to roll out at least over a full year."

The narrative framework for Season 4 will reflect the real-life struggle the actress is having leaving behind the character that made her famous. Bonnett adds:

The Season 3 finale, "Is Miley Saying Goodbye?" and slated to air in mid-March, is "a big one-hour event where we find out what Miley Stewart’s decision is going to be."

"It’s one of the things she’s been wrestling with for months, whether it’s time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl."

The Disney executive says the relationship between Disney and Miley won’t end after Hannah Montanna ends.

As long as Miley can bring in the money, Disney will turn a blind eye to her way too adult for her age behavior.
