Gwen Breastfeeds Despite The Occasional Bite
Gwen Stefani apparently has no doubts about breast-feeding, although she admits that the addition of little Kingston’s teeth has presented a bit of a challenge. Page Six reports:
GWEN Stefani enjoys breastfeeding so much, she doesn’t mind a bit of pain. The pop princess admits she’s still providing her son, Kingston, who was born in May 2006, with fresh milk, long after some mothers have given it up. "I don’t know when I’m going to stop breast-feeding," Stefani, 37, tells London’s Observer Woman magazine. "I’ll just keep going while I can – like, he’s getting his teeth, so it is a little bit scary. He’s bitten me a few times."
Shouldn’t the general guideline be that if he’s able to enjoy a steak and a glass of wine, it’s time to get off the boob? I’m jussayin’. Not to mention, how much milk can come from Gwen? I’ve seen bigger boobs on John Travolta.

Sure breastfeeding is great, blah blah blah. However, he is 15 months old…he is a toddler not a baby with teeth and should be eating normal food. …and “the global average is 4 years old?” Thats freakish and scary!
If this picture is any indication, whose breasts is she using to feed him?
I’m impressed she’s doing it at all. Given how lazy celebrities are, I think it’s awesome she’s still breastfeeding and it is the best thing you can do for your child in their first few years.
The global average for breastfeeding is 4 years old. Clearly Kingston has ages to go. And when you think of it, when North Americans are generally breastfeeding for less than 6 months if at all, that means someone is going even longer than 4 years. Go Mamas of the world! Hooray for breast milk!
