Guy Ritchie Ordered to Re-shoot Sherlock Holmes Scenes

Warner Bros execs said the first five weeks of filming of Sherlock Holmes was "ridiculously unrealistic," so they ordered Guy Ritchie to film those scenes again.
A source said the scenes were filmed while director Guy was “distracted” by his divorce from Madonna.
Guy will get the scenes shot as soon as possible to meet a November release date.
Madonna is probably cackling like a witch right about now.

I did a few days work on the new ‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie and after witnessing Guy Ritchie’s “involvement”, I wouldn’t be surprised if these rumours about re-shoots were true.
He didn’t seem ‘distracted’, rather bored and uninterested. He spent a lot of time strumming on an acoustic guitar with his feet up and talking on the phone. When Robert Downey Jnr talked to him there didn’t appear to be a whole lot of chemistry there.
I’d have thought making this film would’ve been a great distraction from his divorce and he could’ve thrown himself in it – but just from being on-set those few days (and maybe those were his ‘bad’ days) I know personally I’d have been all over that film giving it 100%, instead of glaring at the (really good) 1st AD as if he were a complete moron and warm myself to the rest of the crew.
