Greg Norman To Pay Huge Divorce Settlement

Golf legend Greg Norman has agreed to a $103 million divorce settlement, after his wife’s legal team threatened to subpoena his mistress, tennis star and Wimbledon champion Chris Evert.
Evert would have been forced to give embarrassing details of their affair by producing love letters, and receipts of expensive gifts she had received.
At the last minute both legal teams arrived at the court in Florida to say they had struck a deal.
Laura Andrassy, a former flight attendent, demanded half of Norman’s assets after their 25 year marriage fell apart. After the divorce settlement Laura got 89% of Norman’s assets.
Both sides have signed a confidentiality agreement and declined to go into detail on the settlement. Norman and Evert are now married, but was it worth it?
The bottom line. If you’re going to cheat, get divorced first.

This story does have a happy ending. Norman just lost the British Open, a fitting knock in the head to this man who has destroyed his family, and along with her equally selfish behavior, his girlfriend’s, for the sake of chasing that ever-elusive falsehood — perpetual youth. What a travesty — how excruciatingly painful for his and Evert’s children to participate in the marriage of their parents to their “new” partners. And make no mistake about it — both sets of children are devastated, regardless of their participation in the ceremony. The children are being used to make their wayward parents’ affair somehow seem validated. As a child of divorce, I know how blisteringly painful it is to see a parent skip gleefully off with his/her “new love,” leaving children in the dust and destruction of a former life. Shame on them both.
