Normally I only write about celebrity gossip on HG, but today I started using a new web browser built by Google called Chrome. Besides writing I also do the technical work at HG, so testing out new technology is part of my job. Well, I watched the videos about the technology built into Chrome, it sounded good, but then I tried it out. My first reaction was WOW! Chrome is fast, and although it’s still in beta it seems to be stable. One of the most noticeable improvements was in the processing of javascripts, which usually cause many pages to load slowly, but not with the new javascript processing engine used in Chrome. The bottom line, I will be using Chrome rather than Internet Explorer or Firefox for most of my browsing from now on. If you haven’t installed Chrome yet, I suggest you give it a try, then come back to HG and see how much faster it loads. Click here to download Chrome.

You piss me off sometimes, but I’m quite thankful for this…I wasn’t sure whether or not to download it, but I’ll give it a try now. Thanks.

Holy CRAP it IS fast! Love it, although it will definitely have some glitches since it’s in the preliminary stages but I’ll use it as much as I can. Thanks for the heads up!!
