Ewan McGregor Had a Mole Removed

Ewan McGregor (37) had a mole removed from his cheek below his right eye. Ewan said:

"You have to be careful if you’re pale-skinned and spend any time in the sun. I went to see a specialist who thought they were better to be removed, and indeed he was correct."

Asked if he was apprehensive having the surgery Ewan said:

"It was great fun having skin cancer, it was great, I really enjoyed it."

Use a good sunscreen. Get dark, irregular, or bleeding moles checked right away. Make sure the doc sends the mole tissue to pathology to check it for cancer cells if he/she removes the mole. If it is cancer it could still kill you after the mole is removed. It’s better to be safe than dead.
