Ellen DeGeneres Has the Look of Desperation
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi attended the Takashi Murakami Honors together. The look on their faces tells the story of a troubled relationship. We need a body language expert. Rumors are still circulating that Ellen and Portia are still having a lot of difficulties in their relationship due to the age difference, and Portia just isn’t happy any longer, and wants to move on. Ellen’s PR person has been denying any problems, and a split that was rumored. Despite the denials, rumors are still circulating that their relationship is rocky at best. I see them holding hands for appearances, but their faces show distant emotions rather than unity. Time will tell.

I agree with you on this one. I was watching Ellen’s show the other week and she non-chalantly said that she had a date tonight and she did not want to look wide. The way she said it, she appeared to be serious and it was not her usual demeanor when she is joking and trying to be funny. Also, Ellen has had a pattern of discussing things that are said about her in the media, i.e the Iggy adoption, Ellen’s emotional breakdown over the Iggy adoption, the writer’s strike, criticism that she had received because she is continuing to tape her show during the writer’s strike, etc. She will normally respond to things on her show, but for some reason with the so-called “false rumors” about her relationship being in trouble, she has said zilch… I had already thought to myself when the split rumors surface that if the rumors are false she will comment on them on her show and make light of them, but the rumors are true, then she will not mention it at all on the show. I found that a little out of step with her previous behavior and it leads me to believe that there are indeed some problems in the relationship. Also, a respected reporter at a Chicago newspaper actually contacted sources that he knew personally on the subject of a possible breakup. One source was one of Ellen and Portia’s neighbors and the second source is one of Ellen’s staffers at her talk show that currently airs daily. To me, these sources are not just your run of the mill sources because of their proximity and relationship with Ellen and Portia. Like you have stated in this post, only time will tell the truth on this one.
