   I think this is such a load of cr@p! What is with the chinese people??? come on, idols have their own life too!! Did Edison really need to apologize for their own s@xual behaviours that both parties were willing to participate in???
   I’d say go to the US and get famous there!!

   Taking intimate pictures is like a p@rn star already. Do you still think it is normal? And, can be wiped off with excuses. If you want to talk about normal people like us, just imagine that your bf took intimate pictures with 7 ladies as a collection. There’s no such a way that i can give myself a good excuse to accept them with a feel of “innocent…pity. sad.. want to encourage them”.

What for they start with the relationship if they feel insecure? If they really feel insecure, there’re sooO many ways to make it feel better. There’s no excuse that Celebrity reserved Special Forgiveness.. Not even a normal human-being like you and I have the excuse. If you feel that you want to give them excuses like..they have no friends to talk to?? They have celebrity friends as well, family. I hate seeing Gillian innocent face, after all, when i flashed back how Wild she posed in front of camera. As human being, no matter who you are, what you do, where you comes from. As long as you are a human on EARTH, Think Twice before you Agreed on doing anything. You are responsible to whatever decisions that you made. Fair enough? Come on, All stepped back from entertainment industry and i just want to see Artistes with normal- good attitude, morarity.

   Totally agree with crazo!! 100% agreed!! It’s something i have been talking about with my friends all the while. What has he done wrong? S@x? Taking photos of “his own”… i repeat… HIS OWN enjoyment? And it’s consenting on both sides if u look at the photos. So firstly, he did not take it without the other party’s approval, secondly, he did not rampage the internet with those photos…someone else did it, he kept it safe in his laptop. To silly, what the h@ll do u mean by somewhere safe? It’s digital photos, not film or printed photos where u can choose between storing it in ur closet or putting it in the living room. A laptop is a person’s personal space, you do not go to your friend’s or even your own family member’s personal computer and start going through their hard disks do you!? I think the repair shop individual should be punished!! SEVERELY! Because the only person at fault…is HIM! No arguments about that. It is your job, and it just so happens in ur job u have a privilege of accessing people’s private lives, doesn’t give you the right to expose them or share them out at your own free will. That is work ethics! Jobs like doctors, psychiatrists, etc, all have to handle other people’s private information. They leak it, it’s their fault, not the person whose information is leaked! They are the victims here for goodness sake! So, bottom line, unless u r a conservative, old fashion person who do not believe in s@x with GIRLFRIEND and only WITH WIFE, don’t blame Edison and his scandals. They did it with the interest of their s@x lives in consideration, photography is one of the many tactics placed out in many decent magazines as a way of spicing up ur s@xual life and adding some different feel in it to keep each other feeling new and interested in the s@x. They did it privately…. It’s the non involved party that came in and scr@w things up… ruining so many people’s lives. The rest out there, you have a heart and a right mind to be sympathizing with the victims, to erica, dun be childish and get a life. I dun c why you have to condemn gillian to be a sl^t. Has she intentionally posed n@ked and showed the world her body..? She did for her own personal life, so unless you are what i mentioned up there, someone who do not have s@x in relationships until marriage, then do not put such criticism. And even if you have s@x after marriage, the fact that you have s@x, puts u in the same spot as her, she was just having s@x, not PUBLICIZING her s@x. So then again, unless you DO not have s@x, don’t call others a sl^t for something so commonly done by almost every straight couple, be it in a more modern way such as before marriage, or doing it after marriage.

   As a women, let me just leave my 5cents worth.
   I don’t think i’m speaking too generally if i say that women (especially when in their teens and twenties) are pretty much willing to do anything to please the guy they are in love with. Whether you’re a mega-star or not, most women are insecure when it comes to issues of the heart. Think about it, if your man was Edison, who constantly has millions of girls after him and he can have any of them, how secure would you feel??
   Then also, on top of this, tabloid magazines are constantly over-analysing you. Catch you in a certain angle with little rolls over your stomach?you won’t hear the end of that story for weeks. I know that this is the price of fame, but they’re still human beings, they still have feelings, and because they’re celebs, they don’t even have the benefit us mere mortals have, we can talk to friends and families, we can hide, they can’t.
   So anyways, back to my original analogy, if you were Gillian, and you were really in love with Edison (i’m assuming they were, i know there’s rumors of the girls having been paid off by Edison’s father but let’s disreg them) he has all these girls throwing themselves at him, the media is constantly hooking him up to various girls, the media pressurises you to look absolutely perfect etc etc, all that amalgamates into something terrible for a woman’s insecurity.
   So what do you do when your boyfriend asks you if he can take some naughty photos of you??I would think that by agreeing; i’m showing that i love him and is willing to do anything for his happiness, AND i would also think of it as showing him what he’ll miss out on should he leave me. In fact I’l put on right a good show in those photos.
   That all said, I think it was wrong for Edison to keep those photos on his laptop, if those were intended for personal enjoyment then taking into consideration the sensitive nature of those photos, he should’ve put them away in a safe place. Unless he needed to access them often….say….to show people??…hmmm….

    I don’t see why he should apologize or why everyone is so angry about this whole issue. Obviously the people who serviced he’s computer have some form of duty of care and should have respected he’s privacy. These are all personal photos and it is not against the law to take such photos as long as they are willing participants.

    The people who distributed these should be locked up and he should have he’s head held high.
