Dina Lohan Defends Lindsay Lohan Dramatic Weight Loss

Dina Lohan came out of the shadows today to her typical statement of denial in response to concern over Lindsay Lohan’s dramatic weight loss. On The Billy Bush Show Dina said:
“I don’t know why people care about other people’s weight. I think they should look in their own mirror and stare at themselves. I’m a mom. If I see my daughter a little thin, I say, ‘Eat more McDonald’s.’”
“I told Lindsay I think she’s a little thin, but we go through this every couple of months. My daughter is happy and healthy and that’s all that really matters.”
“We try to keep it at bay and not really read it or engage in it because it’s just other people’s opinions. We’ve got hit pretty hard in the past, so we don’t really go there.”
At least Dina agrees with us on the fact that Lindsay is thin enough to warrant concern. In the past Lindsay’s dramatic weight loss had a lot to do with alcohol and drugs, which have landed her in rehab several times already.
In our opinion Dina may only be defending her daughter because she needs money to pay back taxes on her home. Any caring and reasonable mother would make a statement of genuine concern for the health and safety of her daughter, rather than trying to make it sound as if the whole thing is a result of someone’s imagination, when we have photographic evidence, and a girl with a history of drug and alcohol abuse.
Linday doesn’t have anyone she can turn to for help, especially not herself. She’s chosen to associate with people who lead, or follow, her down the a road of bad decisions, which eventually will lead to an even bigger tragedy.
Lindsay went from white trash, to money and fame, and now she’s white trash with money that is running out fast, no work, and addictions to feed. Current and future child stars take note.
