Demi Lovato Fat Bikini Picture
Demi Lovato posted a picture of herself in a bikini, doing a classic body builder pose, on Twitter, and then tweeted:
- I’ve been working so hard to get healthy and fit.. I can’t believe I’m about to do this but I’m so excited..
- I never thought I’d ever feel confident enough to ever to that. I’m excited how far I’ve come since being completely ashamed of my body..
- I want any girl/guy out there who struggles with body image or confidence to know that it IS possible to find peace with yourself.
- It hasn’t been easy, but it starts with a commitment to yourself.. Your mind.. And your soul. And trust me, I’m still working at it!! Haha
It is great to see Demi trying to get herself fit and healthy, but this picture is premature. The sad news is Demi is still fat. For someone who went to rehab for many issues including an eating disorder, this picture demonstrates Demi still has self esteem, and self image body issues. Reading the comment about being fat isn’t going to make her feel better, but posting this picture is an invitation to see an honest response. I’m not going to feed her delusional thinking, because that only makes her condition worse.
What Demi needs to do is accept herself the way she is, fat or thin. If she wants to get healthier and fit, great, but don’t do it to prove to the world and yourself that you don’t have body image issues, which is exactly what this picture does prove. Demi, you still need emotional help. It’s time to be more honest with yourself.
She is making so much progress! And she is beautiful no matter what. I think it is incredibly amazing to see somebody WITH curves representing Hollywood and the young people of today. The next generation does not need to look up to tooth-pick thin models and celebrities. I am so proud of Demi for working on her self-confidence and proving to people that recovery is worth it and you are all worth recovery. Judging by this post, you are not very comfortable with yourself. Hate to sound like a gooey, cheesy therapist, but maybe you have body issues yourself so you’re attacking somebody who is only happy? I hope Demi never sees this because she doesn’t need this crap. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT. Shame on you for attacking somebody’s self-worth, self-image and self-confidence, not to mention their state of mind. I am so happy to see somebody with a similar body type as me in the Hollywood atmosphere. Shame. On. You. Demi, Stay Strong and Stay Beautiful ’cause that’s all you ever have been. Thanks for proving to me that I deserve happiness.
ffs, she is not fat, i wish i had her confidence, im 17 and im 125 pounds and to me i think im too big, but when i look at demi i see perfection, Demi has helped me a lot, and it really annoys me when people hate on pictures like these! what if demi ever sees this? how do you think this makes her feel?
It takes guts to post a picture of yourself after going to rehab for eating disorders. Can’t you see the remarkable progress? She is trying so hard to heal emotionally, yet you judge her by looks?
This is the dumbest thing in the entire world. Demi is not “fat”. That’s stupid. Get a life. She’s absolutely beautiful.

I just don’t get it ok. All drama, cutting, rehab, everything and she doesn’t even have real problems. I mean, I was always fat, everyone called me fat, ugly, stupid, unwanted, bullied me in school, my father died when i was 8 my mother had alcohol problems and not for one second I didn’t cut or do same sh!tty stuff. I kept fighting and making my life better, making people see who iam not what i am. And she just makes so much fuss and drama! it’s so PATHETIC and UNFAIR to people who have problems, who don’t have parents, who die from hunger, who are abandoned, who live in countries where is war and earthquakes and hurricanes. I mean, grow up! You’re such an unfair selfconcentrated b!tch.

Demo isn’t fat!!! I’m fifteen and I have pretty much the same exact build as her!!! I get called fat all the time, but girls who could actually lose 100lbs!!! But I know I’m not fat, Demi has really inspired me to feel better about myself. For a while I just thought she was a typical Disney girl, but once her story got out it helped me, and probably millions of others as well. I think she is among the best female role models at the moment (including Emma Watson and Scarlet Johanssen.) I think that if we had more strong, smart women like them, girls would stop focusing on being perfect and find something that makes them truthfully happy.
Demi is NOT fat! This is so rude! She’s curvy and beautiful. If you’re calling Demi fat, you’re calling millions of girls fat. You should be ashamed of yourself. She’s healthy and that’s all that should matter.
